During the short time that Riou was a prisoner in Viktor's Mercenary fort, Pohl immediately found him as a very interesting lad. The young mercenary could have been the first person who noticed the extraordinary gift of Riou. The gift to capture other people's hearts and to make them rally around him. A natural characterstic possessed by any great charismatic leader.
