Tessai was convinced to join the Allied Army after he found inspiration by sharpening the Star Dragon Sword with his own hands. Aside from the Night Rune's incarnation, he also wanted to sharpen the King Dragon Sword. Another legendary sword which once belonged to emperor Barbarossa of the former Scarlet Moon Empire.
