Probably the most conservative of his tribe, Hao-Shi's firm grip of the Scribe's tradition and principles made him a stubborn and stern person to deal with. Especially, when it comes to matters involving the outside world and Liu's unexpected ascension to become the next Elder Scribe. However, after spending some time fighting the Order and the One King alongside the Company, his views gradually changed. After the war, he made a strenuous effort to persuade the remaining Scribes from Noslaw Woods to return to their former home, Cynas.
