Meruvis is one of the prettyboys who perform the cooperative attack called as the "Fancy Lads." Behind his good looks and astonishing skill as the best swordsman among the Blades, he is also the right hand of Chrodechild. This is why Asad considered him as a big hindrance for him to get closer to the Queen of the Blades.
