People in the Company were wondering why Taj is so fiercly loyal to his liege, prince Shams. The ever-curious Anya once commissioned a quest just to figure out this unsettling thought. According to the information gathered, Taj was once saved by Shams from being executed after his parents' plot against the Mage Lord was suppressed. Since then, Taj felt indebted to the young prince and served him with fealthy allegiance.
