Trivia:
From the day he was found at the Mysterious Ruins in Rarohenga, Zayin already stated his primary goal to the Company. This is to stop the descent of the One King. Eventually, the descent was realized and Valfred's grand scheme bore to fruition. Nevertheless, Zayin told Hero that he changed his primary objective to either repel or destroying the One King himself.
