Aside from the main story, players have a wide range of gameplay modes to choose from in Castlevania Portrait of Ruin. One of which is the Old Axe Armor Mode, which can be very entertaining for those who want to spice up their gaming experience to another level. To trigger this mode, there is a need to kill at least 1000 Old Axe Armors before beating the whole game.
