Death is Dracula's right hand man and his closest confidant who appeared in almost all Castlevania games except in Castlevania Adventures and Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge. Also known as the 'Grim Reaper,' his role is to revive and bring back his master's lost glory in an infernal crusade to conquer humanity. He is always been a major player among the minions of darkness and always seen to be in the Clock Tower or the Underground Mines.
