Trivia:
In Greek Mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and the harvest goddess Demeter. Hades, the god of the Underworld fell in love with her and abducted the fair maiden. Each year, she returns to earth's surface every spring and stayed for six months. Then she go back to the Underworld for the rest of the year and be with her husband. Thus, she personifies vegetation which started from spring and ends up in harvest season. In Castlevania adaptation, Persephone is Dracula's maidservant who sometimes uses vacuum against intruders. She is also called Maid in Castlevania Chronicles.
