"Witches has been part of several games in Castlevania series. They must not to be mistaken with Salem Witches who wear long robes and cast fiery energy lances. Witch is more of the conventional Halloween character who has long pointy hats, wearing black dress and hovers in the air with her broomstick. Also, not to mention that she always bring with her a black cat familiar. It is often seen sitting next to her even when she flies. A Witch is also called Salome in North American version of Castlevania Symphony of the Night."
