Geddoe is the silent but reliable leader of the Twelfth Unit of Harmonian Southern Frontier Defense Force. Prior to his involvement in the First Bringer War, his hometown was ravaged by the invading Harmonian forces. It was soon later that he acquired the True Lightning Rune on his right hand and escaped. While wandering around, he crossed paths with the Flame Champion and joined his ragtag groups of Fire Bringers to protect Grassland. Together with Wyatt Lightfellow, they became the Flame Champion's best friends and close confidants.
After the war ended, Geddoe wandered the lands for more than 40 years. Eventually, he became part of the Southern Frontier Defense Force seven or eight years before another war looms in Grassland. Most of the members in his unit were probably named after playing cards except for him though. Their unit is considered as a mercenary group which constantly returns to Caleria to receive their next mission. It was also during this time that Duke, the leader of the Fourteenth Unit, became obsessed of competing with his group and showed hostility to them, especially towards Geddoe.
Although, he was considered as a very wise and reliable leader, yet many people finds Geddoe's meekness very unpleasant. Nevertheless, his presence among the Fire Bringers boost the confidence of his allies due to his extensive experience in the battlefield and his close association with the former Flame Champion in the past.
According to Kidd, Geddoe is exactly 112 years old. An information that the young detective is quite sure of, since he asked Sana about it. It has been the effect of the True Lightning Rune's power that he aged slowly than those who have no True Runes embedded on their bodies. After the Second Fire Bringer War, his unit returned to Caleria to resume their duty but Geddoe hides his True Rune once again.
