Gau
Trivia:
Gau is the rough and unfriendly Kobold warrior working under the Fourteenth Unit Harmonian Southern Frontier Defense Force. He came all the way from the Kobold district of Toran Republic and became a member of an unknown organization before joining Duke's unit.
In his former work, Gau was forced to cut his tail in order to broke out with them. Unfortunately, his former comrades got infuriated and turned against him. Duke came to rescue him in a situation that almost cost the Kobold's life. It was then that he pledged his undying loyalty to Duke and subsequently joined their unit.
After, the event in Mt. Senai wherein they rescued Geddoe's unit against a horde of monsters, Gau and the rest of the Fourteenth Unit joined up the Fire Bringers. While staying at Budehuc Castle, he doesn't seem to made friends with other members of the army. Although, he likes the fact that he can be with great fighters, wherein he can learn more how to improve his skills further.
As a fiercely loyal subordinate to Duke, Gau also developed a deep hatred to Geddoe. It was so deep to the extent that he challenged him in a one-on-one fight. Gau found Muto, another Kobold in the Fire Bringers who in charge of the warehouse, as a bit affable and too nice. Thus, he told the Flame Champion not to think of all Kobolds as like him.
Gau likes to eat what he termed as "hard foods," especially his personal favorite Spring Rolls. According to Kidd, the Kobold may seems indifferent towards other people but he works just fine when with his unit. After the war, he joined a military expedition but returned to Caleria in a regular basis just to help Duke on their missions.
