Iku
Trivia:
Iku is the kindhearted lady who took care of the Mantors in Le Buque. She studied to become a nurse due to the fact that Franz had become a promising Mantor rider. Thus, she wanted to help him by taking care of the Mantors, especially Franz's mount, Ruby. Rumors has it that she loves humans and Mantors equally.
Iku and Franz were childhood friends who eventually became lovers. She always believed in him and stay at his side even though the people of Le Buque had loathed Franz due to his sympathy to Harmonia. Every time Franz cut his hair it always turned out uneven and Iku had to fix it all for him. There's a rumor circulating among the Fire Bringers that Franz and Iku once fought because of Ruby. However, Franz denied the allegation calling it a ridiculous accusation.
While at Budehuc Castle, Iku became good friends with Mamie. She took a cooking lesson from her to improve her skills. Iku's daily routine includes cleaning, cooking and washing. She willingly helped other people to finish their chores. Aside from that, she also took care of the Mantors by taking them for a walk and providing them their needs. According to the private eye, Kidd, she saw Iku riding a Mantor while blowing a whistle to lead the other insects.
After the Second Fire Bringer War ended, Iku and Franz returned to Le Buque and helped rebuild the town.
