Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs):
1) How many clans and monster groups are there that appears randomly on the world map?
There are 30 clans and monster groups all in all. Each has a turf in one of the 30 locations in Ivalice.
2) Do all monsters that can be captured by a Hunter appears in random enemy fights?
No. There are monsters that won't appear in random fights such as the Thundrake. So be sure to capture such monsters in normal missions, sub-quests, turf liberations or engagements if you wanted to complete your list of monsters in the Monster Bank.
3) How can you determine the enemies' level before engaging them in a fight?
The level of enemies is determined by the level of characters you currently have. An ally with the highest level will be the basis of the enemies' current level. For example, Montblanc is the character with the highest level in your clan which is currently in level 21. Thus, the enemies are currently in level 21, too.
4) Do the characters in each clan and monster group change over time?
No. The same type of jobs and monsters will appear when facing the same clan or monster group over and over again.
5) Are there clans which have people and monsters in their group?
Yes. The Jagd Emissaries and Clan Hounds have a combination of people and monsters in their clans.
Tips and Tricks:
1) Most clans and monster groups are in big advantage when they are fighting within their turf. So be sure to fight them outside their strategic areas.
2) There are few clans and monster groups, such as the Rangers, that stays in their turf most of the time and rarely seen moving from one place to another. If you want to avoid them just find another alternative way without engaging in battle.
3) Fighting random enemies that appear on the world map is the best way to level up all characters. Remember that enemies encountered from commissioned missions, subquests, engagements, turf liberations and help missions have fix levels. Thus, your level up characters have big advantage on winning these battles.

Fun Facts:
1) The Roaming Naiads are water spirits living in Uladon Bog which are feared by locals. In Greek mythology, Naiads are nymphs inhabiting small body of waters such as springs, creeks, fountains and brooks. They are thought to be graceful beings skilled in singing and dancing.
2) Clan Shalo is known for their prowess in battles when they are in their turf, the Ulei River. Why not? They can all walk through waters with ease due to the "waterwalking" ability of their Feather Boots. Too bad, these boots are one of the rare and invaluable equipment that can't be steal from their bearers.
3) Clan Shalo probably got its name from "shallows." The fact that they made their base in the shallow waters of Ulei River greatly supported this idea.
4) The Doned Faction is a branch of "Clan Doned" which fame is ascending fast among the clans in Ivalice. This ragtag group of fighters hailed in Ambervale is probably founded and named after the brother of Marche, the kid Doned. Although, he is not yet qualified to participate in battles, but his skill in setting traps and ambushes on his brother's way before proved his undeniable talent in strategy.
