All quotes were taken directly from the game.
2) What are the criteria for taking these quotes?
Nothing in particular. If you noticed, some of which are memorable quotes directly taken from the main story. While some are just rants and ramblings of Starbearers, antagonists and other less significant characters such as villagers and townspeople. There are also principles, jokes, deployment quotes, taunts and battle cries. In short, it's a hodgepodge of conversations found in the game.
Tips and Tricks:
1) Speak to Starbearers in the Castle Headquarters and villagers in towns, villages or cities after a mission is completed to find new information and quotes from them.
2) There are also interesting quotes when deploying characters from Erin. Changing party members triggers hidden commentaries if a certain character is deployed together with someone closely associated to him.
Note:
For the purpose of this guide, the name given to the main protagonist is "Hero."
