Castlevania Portrait of Ruin: Medusa
Medusa

Trivia:
In Greek Mythology, Medusa was one of the three Gorgon sisters who had hairs full of snakes. In later legends, Medusa was once a beautiful maiden who served as a priestess in Athena's temple. However, everything changed when she and the god Poseidon lay together inside the temple. The enraged goddess turned her into a vicious and ugly serpentine creature that puts anyone who gazes her into a stone. She was killed by the legendary Greek hero Perseus. In Castlevania adaptation, Medusa is a serpentine boss whose hair unleashes Medusa Heads and petrifies anyone who are hit by her gaze.
