1) How many Starbearers are there to collect?
There are 108 Starbearers in all just like any Suikoden game.
2) Is there any character who has an alternate ending script?
There are no known alternate ending to any character. This goes to show that the story is pretty much straightforward. It leaves no room for speculations, such as which one is the true ending and which one is not.
3) Are there non-Starbearers that you can recruit too?
Sadly, it is one common feature in Suikoden series that was dropped down in Suikoden Tierkreis. Most Suikoden titles in the original series added some characters which are non-Stars but still playable.
4) How many Starbearers remained at the Castle Headquarters after the defeat of the One King?
There are more or less 25% of the Starbearers who remained. Some of them such as Megion, Nomno, Nemne, Icas and others visit the place from time to time.
5) Who are the most missable characters to recruit?
Good thing there are only few missable characters. Some of which can be missed if you recruit them too late such as Hafin and Nalkil. Namna is probably the hardest character to get. You have to visit him oftentimes at the Porpos-kin's quarter in the castle just to recruit him too late in the course of the game. Tongatihi, Darrow, Belemuel, Sphiel, Zayin, Gorno and Mun-Tsang are also hidden on places hardly visited. Lastly, there are characters who can only be recruited if you trigger some events or by talking to someone other than themselves. Such as the case when recruiting Wustum, Bosche, Lathilda and few others.

6) How do I determine that I already recruited all the 108 Starbearers?
The best way to determine how many Starbearers already joined the ranks of the Company is to check the Stone Tablet of the Promise. Check the huge, black and rectangular object at the basement of the castle where Zenoa is usually found. The Stone Tablet contains the roster of Starbearers. Any gap or empty space between names denotes that a character is not yet recruited.
Tips and Tricks:
1) Check the Stone Tablet of the Promise as often as possible to know if there are characters who are not yet recruited.
2) Better complete all the 108 Starbearers to view all the ending scripts. Do this before agreeing to assault Cynas for the second time.
3) Did you know that there is a hidden scene with Atrie that can be seen after completing the game? However, you need to collect all the 108 Starbearers to trigger it.

The original order of names in this guide was totally altered as compared to what is seen in the game. The names were arranged alphabetically for quick search and easy browsing.
For the purpose of this guide, the name used for the main protagonist is "Hero."
