1) What are the strongest axes in Hero's Saga Laevatein Tactics?
Answer: There are three strongest axes in the game, namely: Thor's Stone Axe, Black Whirlwind and Harpe. Actually, there are 4 rank S axes in the game but the other one, Mjollnir, has a slightly lower attributes than the rest.
2) Why is there no rank S axe for water element?
Answer: For some reason there is no water type axe that belongs to rank S. Nevertheless, this minor gap among elemental attributes was somehow resolved by having 2 rank A+ axes.
3) Why I can't equip Harpe?
Answer: There are two possible reasons why a character can't equip Harpe. First, the character is not yet level 25 or above. While the other one is that the character is a male. Harpe is one of those weapons exclusively designed for women.
Trivia:
1) One of the rank S axe is called Mjollnir. In Norse mythology, it is not depicted as an axe but rather a hammer. Owned by the Aesir god of thunder Thor, this enchanted hammer is undoubtedly one of the most famous weapons in legends.
2) Hel is the Einherjar summoned from the Haunting Axe. In Norse mythology, she is the queen of the underworld called the Nifleheim. The name Hel is probably a derivative of the word "hell," which refers to the underworld itself.
3) Hercules' Axe is most likely named after the Roman demi-god Hercules. He is the son of Jupiter from a mortal woman. He is best remembered for his legendary feats known as the "12 Labors of Hercules." In Greek mythology, he is called Heracles.
