Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
1) What are the strongest spears in Hero's Saga Laevatein Tactics?
Answer: There are five rank S spears in the game but 3 of them are more powerful than the rest. These three are Mistleteinn, Tonbogiri and Kraken's Spear.
2) What's so lacking with the two rank S spears which are not included among the strongest?
Answer: Longinus and Gungnir's attributes don't get that far from the three strongest spears, but their attack power, defense, magic defense and speed are bit lower. Nevertheless, they are still powerful enough to be among the rank S weapons.
3) Why I can't use the strongest spears?
Answer: The character needs to be at least level 25 in order to equip some rank S weapons.
Trivia:
1) Longinus Spear was most likely named after the spear mentioned in an old Christian legends. Accordingly, Longinus is the name of the Roman soldier who pierced Jesus Christ during the crucifixion. He was later converted to Christianity and became a celebrated saint.
2) The Kraken's Spear was named after the Kraken. A giant squid mentioned in some legends of old. Thus, it's no big surprise why this spear's elemental attribute is Water.
3) Did you know that most of the names of Einherjars in Hero's Saga Laevatein Tactics are taken from Norse mythology? Even the word "einherjar" is part of these legends.
4) The Einherjar summoned from the Lion's Spear is Tyr. In Norse myths, he is the Aesir god of war.
5) According to the description given to Trident, the three-pronged spear is owned by a god of the sea. Surprisingly, this deity is not found in Norse mythology to which most of the Einherjars in the game were named after. It is actually associated with Poseidon and Neptune in Greek and Roman myths respectively.
