1) What are the strongest holy staves and rods in Hero's Saga Laevatein Tactics?
Answer: There are 5 rank S holy staves and rods in the game but one of them is slightly stronger than the others. Shaman Rod has a magic attack power of 148, which is followed by Shining Cane with 146.
2) Why I can't equip some rank S holy staves and rods?
Answer: There are weapons that cannot be equipped unless the character already reached level 25 or above. This goes the same to some rank S holy staves and rods.
Trivia:
1) The Iron staff has the power to unleash the Einherjar Nidhoggr. The name is most likely derived from Nidhogg in Norse myths. A giant serpent who resides on the bottom of the great tree Yggdrassil that continuously devours its roots. His intention is to bring the whole cosmos to destruction.
2) Sol is the Einherjar summoned from the Rod of Chaos. In Norse mythology, Sol is a reference to a divine being who is believed to be the embodiedment of the sun. He rides in a horse-drawn chariot in the sky, while being chased by the wolves Skoll and Hati.
3) Gullveig is one of the Einherjar summoned from staves and rods. Why not? She is known as a magic practiotioner in Scandinivian legends. Accordingly, the Aesir gods executed her by spears and burned her several times and yet still lives. This form of execution perfectly mirrors the plight of witches during the Middle Ages. They were feared by the people and suffered persecutions and death for their forbidden craft.
