1) Why I can't equip my character with katana?
Answer: Most characters can only equip certain type of weapons. Thus, there is a limitation of what they can wield in battles. If your character can't equip a katana then he is not cut out to be in Samurai class.
2) What is the strongest katana in Hero's Saga Laevatein Tactics?
Answer: Although there are three rank S swords in the game, yet only two of them shares the highest attack damage of 186. These swords are Chidori and Daitsuuren.
3) Why I can't equip some rank S katana even if my character belongs to Samurai class?
Answer: Some of the high level weapons require their owner to be at least level 25 and above before they can be used.
Trivia:
1) It is interesting to note that most Einherjars summoned from katanas were given Japanese names instead of names borrowed from Norse myths.
2) According to its description, the Onimaru Kunisina has the power to chop a demon's neck. The word "oni" is actually the Japanese word for demon or devil.
3) There is only a single class that can wield katanas, the Samurai.
4) The Katana has the least number of selection among weapon types. It has 14 available units only, while the rest of the weapon types have more than 20 each.
